Privacy Policy
The short version
- We collect only what is needed to get your order from the restaurant to you.
- The restaurant you order from receives your order and contact details so it can make and deliver it.
- We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- A driver's location is used only while a delivery is on the way, and is kept for no more than 7 days.
- You can erase your details from inside the app at any time, or by emailing us.
1. Who we are
Sirvanos Go is an app for ordering pickup and delivery directly from independent restaurants. The same app is used by restaurant kitchen staff, managers and drivers. Sirvanos Go and this website are operated by NexPhaz ("we", "us").
The restaurants on Sirvanos Go are independent businesses. When you order, the restaurant is the seller of the food, and it prepares and delivers your order with its own staff and drivers. We provide the app and the systems behind it. This policy explains what NexPhaz does with information. A restaurant may also keep its own records of your order (for example, a printed ticket or its accounting) under its own practices.
2. What we collect
If you order food (guests)
You do not need an account to order. At checkout we collect:
- Your name and phone number. We do not verify the phone number; it is there so the restaurant and the driver can reach you about your order.
- For delivery: your address and delivery instructions (for example, apartment number or gate code), and the map coordinates of that address, which your phone works out so the restaurant can price the delivery and the driver can find you.
- Your order: the items and choices, notes you add, pickup or delivery, the time you asked for, prices, tax, fees, tip, total, payment method (card or cash), and the order's status and times.
- Payment: card payments are handled by our payment processor. The app never stores your card number, and neither do we. We receive only what we need to manage the payment, such as whether it was approved, the amounts, and possibly the card type and last four digits.
- A private order key: a random code that lets your phone show your orders without an account. Your phone keeps the key in its secure storage; our server keeps only a scrambled (hashed) form of it.
- A delivery photo: the driver may take a photo at your door to show where the order was left.
Kept on your phone only: to save you typing, the app remembers your name, phone number and last delivery address for your next checkout, plus your cart and your order keys. You can remove them with Clear saved details and Forget my orders on this phone.
If the app offers phone sign-in and you choose to use it, we also keep an account with your name and phone number, so your order history follows you to a new phone.
If you work at a restaurant (kitchen staff, managers and drivers)
- Account details: your name, your email address or phone number (or both), the restaurant(s) you work for and your role. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash; nobody, including us, can read it.
- Work activity: actions you take in the app and when, such as accepting an order, changing its status, assigning a driver or changing a price. These records let the restaurant resolve problems.
- For drivers: whether you are on or off duty, your deliveries, cash collected and cash tips you record, and the photos you take at the door.
- Driver location, only while a delivery is on the way. When you tap On the way, the app starts sending your precise location so the guest can follow the delivery. It stops when you tap Delivered or go off duty. The app explains this and asks your permission first; on iPhone it keeps working in the background during that delivery so it does not stop when you switch to your maps app. We do not collect driver location at any other time. Locations are kept for no more than 7 days and are then deleted automatically. The guest sees your first name and position only while their order is on the way, never after it is delivered.
Technical information
- When the app or this website connects to our servers, our systems handle basic technical information such as your IP address, the time, the type of request, your app version and your language. We use it to run the service, keep it secure and block abuse (for example, limiting repeated attempts).
- Our app server's logs record the time, the type of request and whether it worked. They do not record your name, phone number or address. Our web server and hosting provider may also log IP addresses and browser type, as nearly every website does.
- If you have chosen in your phone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple or Google may give us anonymous crash reports.
What we do not use: no advertising identifiers, no advertising networks, no third-party analytics or tracking tools, and no cookies on this website.
3. Why we use it
- To fulfil your order: to price it, send it to the restaurant, and let the restaurant prepare it and its driver deliver it.
- To contact you about an order: the restaurant or driver may call or text you about that order, for example if an item is sold out or the driver cannot find the door. Sirvanos Go does not send marketing messages.
- To show delivery progress: order status, the estimated arrival time and, while it is on the way, where the driver is (on a map on iPhone; as distance and last update on Android).
- To handle payments, refunds the restaurant issues, and cash records.
- To prevent fraud and keep the service secure: stopping duplicate or fake orders, locking an account after repeated wrong passwords, limiting abuse and investigating problems.
- To run and support the service: fixing problems and answering your requests.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, build marketing profiles, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
4. Who receives it
- The restaurant you order from receives your first name, phone number, delivery address and instructions, your order, and the delivery photo. Each restaurant sees only its own orders.
- The restaurant's driver delivering your order sees your first name, phone number, address, instructions, the items and any cash to collect.
- Guests see the first name and live position of the driver bringing their order, only while it is on the way.
- Our service providers, who work for us under contract and may use the information only to provide their service: our hosting provider (runs our servers and stores data), our payment processor (handles card payments under its own privacy policy and the card industry's security standards), and our email provider (support emails).
- Maps on your phone: address suggestions in the app come from your phone's maps service (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google on Android), and when a driver taps Navigate, the delivery address opens in the driver's maps app. Those services are covered by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
- When the law requires it, for example a valid court order, or to protect someone's safety.
- If NexPhaz's business is sold or merged, to the new owner, who must keep protecting the information as this policy describes.
No one else. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not work with advertising networks or data brokers.
5. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Your name, phone, address, instructions, item notes and delivery photo on an order | With the order until you erase them in the app or ask us to delete them (section 6). After that, the order keeps only anonymous items and totals for the restaurant's accounting. |
| Order items, prices and totals | As long as the restaurant needs them for its accounting, tax and dispute records. |
| Driver location | At most 7 days, then deleted automatically. Deleted sooner if the order's details or the driver's account are erased. |
| Staff and driver accounts | Until the account is deleted. Sign-ins expire after 30 days without use. |
| Work activity records | Kept for the restaurant's records. Once an account is deleted, they are no longer linked to that person's name. |
| Server logs | A short time, normally no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security problem. |
| Card payment records | Kept by the payment processor as the law and card networks require. |
| Saved details and order keys on your phone | Until you clear them in the app. Use Forget my orders on this phone before deleting the app, because some phones keep secure storage after an app is removed. |
6. Deleting your information
- Guests (no account): in the app, open Account and tap Forget my orders on this phone. This erases your name, phone number, address, instructions, item notes, delivery photo and the driver's route from those orders on our servers, and removes the order history from your phone. To also remove your saved name, phone and address from the phone, tap Clear saved details.
- Anyone with an account (staff, drivers, and guests who signed in): tap Delete account in the app's account menu. This permanently deletes your account, password, sign-ins and restaurant memberships, erases your personal details from your orders (including their delivery photos), and deletes any driver location history.
- By email: write to support@sirvanosgo.com. Tell us the phone number or email you used and, if you have no account, the restaurant and the date or number of your order, so we can find it.
If an order is still in progress, the app asks you to wait until it is finished. Step-by-step instructions are on the Delete account page. You can also turn off location access at any time in your phone's settings.
7. Security
Information travels between the app and our servers encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and order keys are stored only in hashed form. Restaurant staff can see only their own restaurant's orders, and drivers only the deliveries assigned to them. On your phone, order keys are kept in the phone's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about a breach as the law requires.
8. Children
Sirvanos Go is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your US privacy rights, including California
Sirvanos Go is offered in the United States. Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have about you, and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these);
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to provide the service);
- not be treated differently for using any of these rights.
California residents. In the past 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, phone number, email address, IP address); customer records (delivery address); commercial information (orders and payments); geolocation (a driver's precise location during a delivery); photos (delivery photos at the door); internet activity (server logs); and professional information (a staff member's restaurant and role). Sensitive personal information: a driver's precise location and account sign-in details, used only to provide the service. We collect this from you, from your device, and from the restaurant staff and drivers handling your order, for the purposes in section 3, and disclose it only to the recipients in section 4. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those words, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing information of anyone under 16. We do not disclose personal information to others for their direct marketing.
How to make a request. Email support@sirvanosgo.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. To protect you, we will verify the request by matching details only you should know, such as the phone number or email and the order. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that you gave them permission. We answer within 45 days (or tell you if we need up to 45 more, as the law allows). If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject, and we will answer within the time your state's law requires.
This website uses no cookies or trackers, so there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off; we honor those signals anyway.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or on this website before it takes effect.
